Research to Amplify Your Community's Identity
A key part of consulting is helping you to clarify who your organization is and how they can best share their gifts with the wider community. Too often, churches have goals and programs that, while admirable, do not align with the skills or abilities of their people. Research allows us to help you see more clearly the identity of your people - who they are and what they're most capable of doing - and then provide feedback that empowers you to envision your mission as a product of your God-given identity. Consultation always includes a visit from me. A second person who brings a different perspective and experience in church work, is also available to help maximize the impact of the visit.
Focus Groups enable us to spend intentional time with the official and unofficial leaders of your organization. This allows for critical engagement with those who are shaping the current mission and vision .
Polls and Surveys ensure that everyone within the organization has an opportunity to offer comments on the current life of the church, as well as provide the raw data that helps to visualize feedback.
Through my work at HopeWood Outdoors, we provide these services in ways that provide intentional support for your organization as you consider significant transitions in your community's life. Find out more about us at www.hopewoodoutdoors.org.

Coaching to Enhance the Impact of Your Mission
I also offering leadership coaching to shape focus and fruitfulness of your ministry. This can be in conjunction with or separate from a consultation with your organization, though the best work is always done with a full awareness of the context that you are serving. Coaching is an individualized process that focuses on the skills and needs you bring as a leader, as well as the potential fruits that your community may bear. This is available to anyone in church leadership: staff like pastors, deacons, or musicians, as well as unpaid leaders like elders and council members.
